who is woody

Founded in 1922 by Michael Piroutz, his grandson Gerhard Piroutz now runs a flourishing shoe factory at the same location with around 40 employees and produces shoes and clogs with flexible wooden footbed soles.

What makes woody so special?

Comfort - Each shoe features a comfortable footbed for optimal comfort. Quality craftsmanship from Austria - In our factory, these unique shoes are carefully handcrafted. Natural materials such as willow wood and leather are the basis for comfort and well-being.

Questions about ordering and payment

The product I want is no longer available, can I still order it?

Sold-out models cannot usually be pre-ordered.

I made a mistake when ordering, what can I do?

In this case, please contact us by phone (+43 4237 3105) or email (woody@woody.co.at). We will cancel your incorrect order, and you can place another order.

What payment methods are there?

We accept the following payment methods: Credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express), Paypal, Klarna, EPS transfer, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Shop Pay.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes! Once we receive your order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation via email. If you haven't received a confirmation, please contact our support team. Please check your spam folder first.

Do I get an invoice?

Yes! The invoice will be sent to you by mail along with the goods.

Which countries do you ship to?

Our products are delivered worldwide. However, we ask for your understanding that, as a small company, we can only offer free shipping to customers in Austria and Germany. Return shipping is borne by the customer and is not free of charge. The ordered goods will be shipped to the specified delivery address as quickly as possible. Shipping is handled by Austrian Post AG.

YES, you may be charged customs duties, taxes, or fees for deliveries to a non-EU country. However, these are collected by the relevant customs or tax authorities and not by woody®.

What size should I order?

Our shoes aren't cut too big or too small. We generally recommend ordering your normal size. You'll find a size chart on our website to help you.

How do I care for the leather?

To care for our leather, we recommend a standard leather care product. You can purchase a leather care product we recommend under Accessories. Application tips can also be found there.

How do I clean my clogs?

Questions about using the website

Why can't I put the desired product in the shopping cart?

Make sure you've selected the correct size and color. Products that are grayed out and/or crossed out are currently out of stock and cannot be ordered.

Where can I redeem vouchers or discount codes?

The code can be entered in the voucher code window on the right when completing the purchase. The discounted amount will then be automatically displayed and applied. Only vouchers specifically designated for the online shop can be redeemed. Discount codes can also only be redeemed in the online shop.

How can I return or exchange something?

We include a return slip with every package. Please enclose the return slip with your return to ensure smooth and speedy processing. What can I do if the refund amount is too low?
