Sustainability is not only an important topic for woody®, which is reflected in the product range, it is also firmly anchored in the entire corporate philosophy. Our electricity is generated by photovoltaics, we heat with the production waste. The groundwater comes from a spring on the company premises. We also rely on active reforestation in our area. The company also does without plastic and unnecessary packaging waste. Furthermore, our clogs can be repaired on site and are therefore particularly durable.
The willow wood of our woodys comes solely from sustainably forested forests in Europe. The leather also comes from Europe – mostly from Italy. The shoes are made by Handwork in Austria, in beautiful Carinthia. So highest quality "made in Austria“.
In order for your woodys to last as long as possible, you should take proper care of them. First you free your shoe from coarser dirt and dust. Then, depending on the material, treat with either leather care or velor care. When applying the care, less is more!
If your woody's fur gets dirty, simply let it dry and then carefully brush it out. The wooden sole is easy to clean with soap and a sponge.
